Yes, you read that right, and it’s nothing to sneeze at when you take into account that it definitely won’t break your decorating budget.

A collaboration between Scotties and lifestyle brand House and Home took the standard tissue box and turned it into eight different mix-and-match designs that would be perfect for any room in your home.

“These designs provide a great opportunity to easily add a splash of color and style to an otherwise empty space,” said Susan Irving, Chief Marketing Officer of Kruger Products LP. “Each of our designs is sophisticated enough to allow these boxes to leave the bathroom and live in different rooms of the house.

Modern Graphic — A graphite background and cream lines that present a bold and contemporary accent, which will work in the most stylish spaces.

“My idea was to design tissue boxes for Scotties that would be props for the way we decorate today,” said Lynda Reeves, founder and chief designer of House and Home.

“I had never considered the pattern on a box of tissues until now,” Reeves added. “I always took the tissues from the box and put them in clear Lucite boxes that I had custom made, or I covered the boxes with fabric sleeves. All of that was fine, but boring. I wanted to create tissue boxes that would make a decorative statement, and Kruger was set to produce a new line from Scottie’s that did just that.

So how do you style your hair like a designer tissue box professional? First, start with the ones that match your style.

“Our designs were created with design-conscious consumers in mind,” Irving said. “The modernist will love the graphic black and delicate white tissue boxes. Color lovers will appreciate the country blue, soft coral, mauve and muted sage greens used in multiple designs.

As for where to put them, Irving said they’re stylish and can bring a colorful hue to an ordinary bookcase, liven up a kitchen backsplash, or bring an unexpected touch of style to an entryway table — just a few examples that show where. and how they can be used to enhance home decor and style.

Reeves, meanwhile, recommends playing against type.

“I put my favorite Scotties box from the show on my nightstand,” Reeves said. “The bold mustard pattern, reminiscent of mud, looks fabulous on my antique nightstand.”

Reeves also suggests thinking outside the box a bit.

“You don’t have to lay your tissue box sideways,” Reeves added. “Try placing it vertically against your kitchen backsplash for a fresh new look.”

Available throughout 2022, Irving said the response to date to the designer series of premium two-ply facial tissue has been excellent.
