Marketing and graphic design specialist

Insight:
We are looking for a Marketing and Graphic Design Specialist to implement marketing and branding initiatives and maintain the freshness of Northwood Office properties to increase awareness and maximize tenant occupancy rates . The Marketing and Graphic Design Specialist will be responsible for designing and maintaining a wide range of marketing materials related to the company’s commercial real estate portfolio, community events and corporate communications. The candidate will work collaboratively with all departments to meet company-wide design needs and participate in special projects.

This is a mid-level role that reports to senior employees. The ideal candidate will be autonomous, resourceful and possess a high degree of integrity. Responsibilities:
• Create designs, copy and campaigns to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan
• Implement brand initiatives while maintaining consistency across multiple platforms
• Create and produce high quality, innovative materials including (but not limited to) brochures, flyers, direct mail, fact sheets, print and digital advertisements, stationery/business cards , event signs, banners, email, digital banner ads, website and social media assets
• Collaborate with digital communications, community relations and Ballantyne magazine teams to produce cohesive cross-platform campaigns
• Assist with special projects as directed by management
• On-site event support for select nighttime and weekend events

Training and experience:
• Must have at least a bachelor’s degree; major in communications, marketing, graphic design or a closely related field is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in marketing/graphic design
• Experience in the commercial real estate sector is a plus

Key attributes and skills:
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office suite required
• Experience with WordPress, HTML design, social media platforms, photography and video production and/or editing skills is preferred
• Strong writing skills
• Experience in creating digital marketing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Attention to detail
• Strong project management and ability to prioritize workload
• Strong problem solving skills
• Works well under pressure
• Excels in a team environment
